Share an evening with the 140-voice chorus and world-class soloists singing one of Antonín Dvořák’s most beloved choral masterpieces. Enjoy the thunderous orchestra, soaring soprano solo and outstanding climax of the Te Deum and experience the rarely-performed Glagolitic Mass, Leoš Janáček's self-proclaimed passionate testament to the Czech nation's faith, in the Washington premiere of its original version with its triumphant fanfares, vibrant and rhythmic writing, and dramatic organ solo – widely hailed as one of the century’s finest masterworks.
Presented as the culminating performance of the Embassy of the Czech Republic’s Mutual Inspirations Festival honoring the 170th birthday of composer Antonín Dvořák.
