Morgan Callwood

Morgan is a recent graduate of Georgetown University with a B.A. in Linguistics and a minor in Italian, though she has spent most of her life focusing on music and sports. Morgan has been singing since middle school, and was the president of the Georgetown University Chamber Singers for two years. She also sang with the GU Gospel Choir for 4 years and with the Schola Cantorum F. Landini at the Fiesole Music School when she studied abroad in Florence her junior year. Morgan is also an instrumentalist, having played piano since she was 7 years old. She has competed and entertained on the piano for years, and spent a summer accompanying band members at the University of the Virgin Islands Summer Band Camp. She herself was also in the Pep Band at Georgetown University for two years.

Morgan is also a prominent member of the sports industry, having been a USSF-certified soccer referee since she was 12 years old. Morgan has also played soccer since a very young age, and was captain of her high school varsity soccer team for two years, on which she played for four years. She was also on the GU Women’s Club Soccer team for all four years of college, and was captain for her last two years. Morgan was also a supervisor with the Department of Intramural Sports at Georgetown for two years, having been an intramural referee for one year before that.

Morgan is a passionate advocate for summer camp, as she has worked at Camp Weequahic as an administrative assistant for three summers and counting. This past summer she was promoted to Head Secretary, and hopes to keep going back as long as she can.
